Payment

An invoice will be sent to you before your first lesson of the month. Payment is due before or at the lesson. I currently accept cash, cheque, and e-transfers as methods of payment.

Cancellations

If a lesson is cancelled with six (6) hours notice, two options will be made available to you:
1) You may reschedule the lesson within a week of the cancelled lesson as time allows.

2) Two lessons in each semester will be made up at another time. Make-up lessons will not be rescheduled once a date and time is decided on. While I try my best to offer multiple times for make-up lessons, if you are unable to attend any of the times given by the end of the year, you will not receive a refund.

Cancellation notice can be made through text, voice message, or e-mail.

Lessons that are cancelled less than six hours in advance or exceeding the limit of allowed cancellations will not be refunded. Exceptions may be permitted for emergencies or illness. In an attempt to keep everyone healthy, please cancel your lesson if you are sick and you will be accommodated. In the event that I must cancel a lesson, I will either add a credit to your next invoice or refund your money. In the event of a storm day, lessons will be cancelled if road conditions are poor. If the lesson cannot be rescheduled, a refund or credit will be offered.

In-studio Lessons

Please note, I do have a cat in my home. He is very friendly, but if you or your child have an allergy, lessons in my home may not be appropriate. He is a Siamese cat, so depending on your type of allergy, you may not have a reaction to him.

If you or your child have any allergies or medical conditions I should know about, let me know so that I may ensure my home is a safe environment.

Please take off your shoes when you arrive. While not necessary, all parents are welcome to observe lessons. If you do not wish to sit in on the lesson but would like to wait inside, my living room will be available. While this space is available for waiting, children must be supervised at all times. In an attempt to take care of the piano, I ask that piano students/parents let me know if hand washing is necessary before playing.

Thank you!
